This pattern uses the Filet Crochet Technique. You will see the Llama and Hearts emerging as you progress through the pattern. It is designed for Beginner to Intermediate Crocheters.
There are three different instructions including written, filet chart and number chart, as well as photos. This pattern uses US terminology.
I have made two versions of the blanket, one in DK yarn and one in Aran.
DK version was 88cm x 95cm
Aran version was 105cm x 115cm
Yarn required - approximately 300m per panel (900m) PLUS 250m
